I am a grad student in Tom Miller‘s lab here at Rice EEB.

I am interested in how gene flow (hybridization) among parasitic taxa could alter their host specificity and therefore change the adaptive potential of populations. I am exploring questions related to this using different species and population lines of laboratory-reared Bruchid beetles.
